Privately owned and registered as a limited liability company, Locatech Services Sarl works as main contractor or subcontractor for survey and construction companies across the Gulf of Guinea.
Our story
Locatech Services Sarl was incorporated in 1997 and first worked as the local partner of international survey companies such as Doris Survey France, Comex Marseille, Comex Seaway and Stolt Offshore.
In 2002 the company ended these partnerships and became an independent technical assistance company for offshore and allied industries, delivering projects in Cameroon, Nigeria, Gabon, DR Congo, Angola and Equatorial Guinea.
We keep investing in our own equipment so we can answer tenders with sensors already in the country — no transit or customs delays.
Milestones
- 1997Incorporation in Douala; local partner of Doris Survey, Comex and Stolt Offshore.
- 2002Independent technical assistance company for offshore and allied industries.
- 2015Launch of Immaculata Conceptio, a fast survey craft designed in-house.
- 2016Order of a new SIG Pulse sparker/boomer system at Oceanology International.
- 2021Staff awarded work honour medals by the Governor of the Littoral Region.
- 2024Launch of a staff well-being programme.
