Ahead of Labour Day, Locatech Services held a sports morning at its Douala premises on 27 April 2024. Almost every employee not engaged on an ongoing project took part.

After a fitness warm-up, a supervised dance session to live drums brought everyone together — the CEO opened the event and joined in. The morning ended with a shared meal, and the company plans to make well-being and personal development programmes a regular part of its culture.

On Friday 29 October 2021, His Excellency the Governor of the Littoral Region presented work honour medals to Locatech Services staff during a ceremony at the company's premises.

At Oceanology International 2016, Christian Assouke of Locatech Services ordered a new SIG Pulse S1 sparker/boomer system from SIG France. Working off West Africa on platform positioning and pipe routes, Locatech keeps investing in equipment to answer tenders without transit or customs delays. The new high-voltage technology removes the need for a large generator on board.
