Survey fleet

In-house vessels with survey spreads permanently on board — for fast mobilisation and predictable costs.

14 m survey vessel

MV Santa Monica

A light, cost-effective platform for precise shallow-water survey (to 100 m water depth) and coastal studies. Designed for inshore and open-sea operation, she can sail from her port of call to any port in the Gulf of Guinea, with 4 surveyors and 4 crew on board for 4 to 5 consecutive days offshore.

A 3.5 × 2.3 m retractable deck platform and an A-frame make her ideal for oceanographic and core sampling (0–20 m), towed sensors and diving support when anchored. The 3.70 × 3.10 m acquisition room seats 3 to 4 online engineers with two workbenches and equipment racks.

Equipment permanently mobilised on board means minimal mobilisation time; daily hire or long-term contracts, with low fuel and oil consumption.

8.5 m fast survey craft

Immaculata Conceptio

Custom designed and built by Locatech, this aluminium survey boat is a daily-use unit for nearshore work. Thanks to her speed she can operate up to 30 NM from the coast, stand-alone or from larger ships and barges during long-term operations.

She has a moon pool, a bow mounting pole and an A-frame for towed sensors; the cabin takes a computer rack and two workstations. Built from standard aluminium plates and extrusions with widely serviceable drive trains, she needs minimal maintenance.

Available for daily charter or long-term contracts with flexible pricing.

Third-party vessels

For large-scale projects, Locatech Services draws on third-party naval support, mobilising its own survey spreads and crews on chartered vessels.
